2-4th April ”Learning Development in a digital age: emerging literacies and learning spaces” ALDinHE (Leeds)
Across the Learning Development community there is significant interest in the implications of an increasingly digital learning environment and its impact on the learning experience. The 2012 conference is an exciting opportunity to consider how we operate in a digital age:
- how are new and emerging technologies changing learning and teaching?
- how is our perception of academic literacies changing in response to this?
- when, where and how is learning and teaching taking place?
- what is the role of students as partners and facilitators of learning in a digital age?
- what demands does this place on traditional learning spaces?
This conference is about more than just technology. The digital age offers opportunities for learning to take place in a multitude of spaces and modalities. As always the annual conference will represent the full range of interests and work of learning developers; we look forward to receiving proposals for workshops, case studies and snapshots of work in progress that address the conference theme in a variety of ways.
